So that's what that was!
I ran on one of those last fall at a hotel while at a work conference. It was a Woodway. I liked it but I couldn't understand why my heart rate was so different than running the same MPH on my own treadmill. I had no idea that was even a thing but at least I can now make sense of why I felt like I was working so much harder to achieve a much lower output.
