The Red Flash hang tough, giving us a competitive game for 40 minutes tonight.

Our balanced attack features five double-figure scorers, led by Israel Moody (14p/7r) and Chris Wilson (13p/6r). Kai Smith supplements his 11 points with 3 steals and another 8 assists.

I'm especially proud of the fact we commit only 6 turnovers.
Record: 22-2 (8-2).

We remain at #1; despite our two losses, we're still ranked ahead of undefeated Pitt. And we play like the best team in the nation in Hartford tonight, doubling up on the Huskies.

Israel Moody (21p/5r), Dan O'Halloran (17p/8r), DeAndre Brown (11p), and Kai Sims (10p/5a) all score at least 10 points, and Nick Spencer dishes out 7 assists.

But the real story is the plunderous nature of our defense. We steal the ball from the Huskies 21 times, one theft short of the school record we set in November. The leading bandits are DeAndre (6), Nick (4), Dan, Kai, and Israel (3 each). Chris Wilson blocks 3 shots.

We've added some real swagger to our defense lately. We lead the nation in blocks, steals, and turnovers forced.
Record: 23-2 (11-2).

Chris Wilson protects the rim as if it were his prized possession, turning back 10 Johnnies shots as we beat St. John's on the road. The 6'11" junior misses a triple-double by 2 rebounds.

DeAndre Brown leads a balanced attack with 18 points.
Record: 24-2 (10-2).

Chris Wilson wins the PotG nod, scoring 14 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and rejecting 5 shots. It could have gone to DeAndre Brown, who scored 13 points with 8 rebounds and 7 steals.

Israel Moody wouldn't have been a bad choice (18p/5r). Same for Nick Spencer (11p/7a/2s). It's a nice problem to have.

We'll close out our month a game behind Georgetown and Pitt in the Big East standings. The Hoyas and Panthers are both 12-1.
Record: 25-2 (11-2).
