David didn't turn out to be quite as good a player as we thought when we scouted him; neither his shooting or his defense graded out as high as we hoped. And, then, he didn't seem to develop his game very much after he arrived.
The
David Lovett we thought we were getting would have forced his way into the rotation, at least. The version we got couldn't manage to do so, not with the competition he faced.
David was never happy here, so perhaps it's best that he's going pro. I hope he finds what he wants.
