Youth Squad Promotion
Our youth squad laid another giant goose-egg this week. This is getting ridiculous. 19-year-old promotee Les Cheng has been summarily executed.

Yes, I realize we have been sitting on a significant chunk of money for the past few weeks, but this is by design. We’ll be looking to make an upgrade at striker (and bidding farewell to Forrest “Gump” Tobias, most likely), but the caliber of player we’re looking for should cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1.5 million. We’re keeping our eyes open for bargains, but most likely won’t be doing any serious player hunting until we hit that mark.

The Swabbies are still none-too-pleased, despite our win on the road this last week. What we really need is a win in the rubber-match against Sweden Heights at The Docks, if we’re to get them back into our good graces. Until we find a way to win at home, we will continue to suffer.
Up Next: The aforementioned rubber-match against Sweden Heights. Stay tuned!
