I got some glitches on my Windows 11 work laptop where most of my icons disappeared. I tried all of the fixes which were unsuccessful but I thought I could live with it until Task Manager and File Explorer had other weirdness.
I just bit the bullet and reset Windows. Didn't take too long and things went back to normal for everything. The only thing I'm dealing with now is fixing all of my settings and reinstalling many of my programs. The programs were no big deal but the restoration of my settings is doing my head in. This is on top of my daily teaching is a huge pain.
