We're now in a two-way competition for the signature of
Max Bennett. Georgetown still holds the pole position. I'm going to fight a little longer for him.
Robbie Blades now holds four offers: Temple, Lehigh, Delaware, and Villanova. And, because we're now on Robbie's list, we can invite him to campus. Having that card to play makes me feel better about our chances.
Five schools have now made offers to
Dan Roesch: St. John's, American, Colgate, Richmond, and Villanova. Again, we're fifth on the list, but we're there. That means we can issue the campus visit invitation if we like.
Why am I hesitating to continue our pursuit of
Dan Roesch? Because another intriguing player has moved us up his list:
Matthew Valentine.

Delaware's Mr. Basketball is a dynamic offensive player who can get to the rim, score from outside, and run his team's offense. He hasn't shown us much potential as a defender, so he'll need some teammates who aren't afraid to do what it takes to protect their house.
I liked Matthew's scouting report enough that I invited him to campus last month. I decide to retract
Dan Roesch's offer and present it to Matthew instead.
