Who would have guess a guy whose dad ran emerald mines during apartheid in South Africa would be racist.
My father-in-law used to work as CEO for a guy who wouldn't hire black truck drivers or office workers because he thought blacks were too dumb to be trusted with that work. He would only allow them to be hired for warehouse work. My father-in-law only said something when he rage-retired.
