It's a dream come true for one young man, his friends, his family, and SEC opponents.
It's a nightmare for anyone else associated with UT football.
I've actually been mistaken for being on the sideline in 1994. Most of my old high school friends thought I went to UT. I had intended to; I even received a letter from Fulmer saying I could be an equipment manager (through Mike Rollo's approval, I believe) if I attended. However, my financial backing fell through, and I didn't go.
One guy was convinced that he saw me in uniform on the sideline during a game and news spread among my old friends and teammates I was on the UT football team.
Imagine my surprise when I went home for Christmas that year.
