We got exactly what we hoped for with
Byron Scores. He improved his shooting every season, while pulling the trigger more often than anyone we've seen here. He made himself into an excellent free throw shooter. His 742 points in 2023/24 is a program record.
He was also capable of maddening moments of inconsistency; his 114 turnovers in 2023/24 is also a program record.
But, at the end of the day, we've never had a player who could score the basketball the way Byron could, and he'll take that talent to the league as a first-round draft pick.
