Yes. My daughter was able to get a about a semesters worth of credit. Cheap and she is doing it anyway.

Our HS also offers a program where you can go to a community college and earn your AA at the same time you earn your HS diploma. A lot of kids do that and it is cheap. They walk into a 4 year college as a Junior.
