Two teams possibly heading in different directions. WPG head coach John Bray has added a lot of passing talent to his offence and shifts to a pass heavy approach more in line with what got him the job in the first place. The off-season wasn’t kind to Vancouver and may have blunted their offensive prowess quite a bit.

VAN HB Jason Privett will be seeing WPG Michael Campbell in his nightmares for weeks to come as he was held to 1 zone gained on 7 attempts! WPG wins convincingly in the opener (thanks in large part to me correcting bugs that allow completed passes to count….*facepalm*)
