sterlingice, Ardent Enthusiast: Yes I watched the Tangerine Bowl, and it turned out about how I expected. KU was able to move the ball some against NC State's piss-poor pass defense, but Rivers absolutely tore the Jayhawks defense to shreds. I hate seeing my teams play bad defense, which made it kind of tough to watch, but I watched nonetheless.
Still, it's a step in the right direction, even if they did get crushed. It's obvious that they were outmatched, but Mangino got the boys some national TV exposure, which can do nothing but help his recruiting. Things are looking up in Lawrence.
Havok: Thanks for the heads-up. Actually it's about time Heights upgraded their netminder. Their current #1, Trent Wilkinson, is only a high passable/low solid keeper. Unfortunately, they have to do this just before we play them back-to-back.
