Season 8, Week 12: 8-2 Dragons host 5-5 Bills

The Dragons came out of the gate angry in this one. After sloppy play in the previous game, Des Moines found its groove early in this contest, and the characteristic McDaniels fashion, the Dragons piled on the offense early.

WR2 Robbie "No, I'm No. 1" Thompson caught 11 of 14 for 116, and QB Dakota Corriveau rediscovered his new reliable friend, FB Dwight Stanton for a rumbling, run-em-over TD catch, and suddenly the Dragons were back to their old selves.

SS Mitch Plante swatted 3 passes out of the sky, while not allowing a single catch to lead the defense. A pair of garbage-time scores made it look closer than it was, as the Dragons right the ship with a 27-21 victory.
