2/23/1944 Rockin the Boat

We have shuffled the planes around once more. Flying today is

BigTop Peewee
Zues Rides
Brave Saint Saturn
Rajun Cajuns
Flying Plantain
Wind Dancer

As you can see, its mostly are new crews, but I figure this gives them more of a chance to improve their skills and earn kills.

We fly over france, and run into some germans today. They manage to wound A man on Big Top Peewee. He is pretty seriously hurt, but would rather stay onboard. We dispatch one round of fighters, and head into some flak. Wind Dancer, loses their number 4 engine to a flak burst, and have no other option but to turn back. Dunn, onboard Zues Rides, is killed when a flak fragment rips through the glass nose cone. We engage some more fighters after leaving the flak. These give us much less trouble, and we press on to the target. IT is very cloudy, but our excellent bomber manages to hit the target destroying it. We turn for home, and pass through the final flak zone unharmed.
