General Update

So Bear's record in the 1000 Free didn't stand for very long. Actually, we knew it wasn't going to. Earlier in the year we saw Grant Davis (one of the Grants mentioned way back in thread - I'm not sure how he was addressed Grant D, Grant 1 or Grant 2...) make a charge at Bear's record untapered and come close so we expected during his shave/taper for age group state he'd beat the time. We didn't expect he'd swim a 9:40.90...breaking Bear's record by 15 seconds. At the end of this short course season I believe Grant will hold the 13/14 team record in the 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free, and the 200 Fly.
