2017 Georgia High School Association 6-7A State Swimming Championships - FINALS RESULTS

#15 Boys 500 Free (4:51.40) : Seeded 17 - Bear was the top seed in the C finals, and he ended up winning the heat going away. He posted another high school best time of 4:49.58 and probably would have been even faster if he had someone to race against. This time was good enough for him to finish 19th overall, so this swim was more of what he was hoping for the day earlier.

#17 Boys 200 Free Relay : Seeded 24 - not quite a good as prelims as Bear managed a 23:91 to lead off the relay.

#23 Boys 400 Free Relay : Seeded 27 - This relay took a hit before the race ever started. The swimmer with the shoulder trouble ended up getting sick during the meet and had to leave. This forced South to substitute in a swimmer who was over 5 seconds slower, which dropped them to last in the event. Bear did manage to swim a 50.71 split.
