Youth Squad Promotion

Last week’s youth squad product, Oliver Smith, sold for a respectable total of $123,000. Oliver should be quite happy with the deal, as he has landed in a sweet situation, playing for SKF Sagita in Poland’s 2nd-Division. No doubt it will take young Oliver a good deal of time to become a starter for the Polish powerhouse, but he should receive superior training along the way.

This week the squad produced no such value for us, however, and 19-year-old Cliff Reynoso was given his walking papers over the weekend.

The addition of Svensson to the roster put a significant dent in our cash reserves, but at least our roster is complete for the time being. We’ll probably let the bank account get back up around a million, then go looking for an improvement at the forward position.
