Week 2 Training Results

First the bad news. None of our trainees showed any marked improvement in their playmaking ability this week. We suspect, however, that a couple of them are relatively close.

The good news…

Form Changes

No fewer than 8 players saw their form improve this week!
-Midfielder Gino Behling -> solid (7)
-Winger Walter Bosch -> solid (7)
-Midfielder Javier Tejeda -> solid (7)
-Midfielder Jaimy van de Kerkhof -> solid (7)
-Wingback Tyler Willard -> solid (7)
-Defender Sven Svensson -> passable (6)
-Midfielder Milan Dufek -> inadequate (5)
-Forward Forrest “Gump” Tobias -> weak (4) (a 2 level improvement)

12 players had their form remain the same this week.

Only 2 players dropped in form this week:
-Midfielder Rune Kolberg -> inadequate (5)
-Forward Guido Metman -> inadequate (5)

The club’s average form took a sizable jump this week. Doubly good is the fact that five of the eight that showed improvement this week are our new trainees, while only one of them took a form dip. They may not have made any big progress in playmaking this week, but they still seem to be playing well.

Forrest “Gump” Tobias may finally be showing some respectable form, due in no small part to his participation in last week’s cup match, no doubt. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Forrest, and hopefully he will continue to improve.

In the Zone

Again, we have no players displaying excellent (8) form at the moment, but the list of those displaying solid (7) form has jumped to eight:

-Midfielder Gino Behling
-Winger Walter Bosch
-Forward German Galvez
-Forward Johannes Henriksson
-Wingback Arlen “Headcase” Lucas
-Midfielder Javier Tejeda
-Midfielder Jaimy van de Kerkhof
-Wingback Tyler Willard

Form Dog

Forrest “Gump” Tobias’ improvement has opened the door for a new form dog this week, wingback-turned-winger-turned-wingback-again Ben McMahon. Ben has only seen action in one match so far this season, and his poor (3) form is a reflection of that lack of playing time.

Player Values

Average Player Value: $280,368 (+$4,757)
Total Player Value (22 players): $5,327,000 (+$366,000)

Note that this week’s value numbers have been skewed, due to the addition of Sven Svensson to the roster.

Assessed Value Milestones

A number of our young recruits reached assessed value milestones this week:

$400,000+
-Midfielder Gino Behling ($429,000)

$200,000+
-Winger Walter Bosch ($217,000)

$100,000+
-Midfielder Milan Dufek ($126,000)
-Midfielder Javier Tejeda ($103,000)

Up Next: The weekly youth pull and financial update. Stay tuned!
