I agree with you on preferring the "realism" aspect of the game. However, day-training is the one aspect that I will cave in to. The reason being is that Hattrick is NOT realistic. If it were realistic, I would have more training options. I love having well-balanced teams. However, to train General every week or to switch your training each week is Hattrick suicide.

If I had my druthers (and boy, I do like my druthers), I would have started out with all 17 year olds and try to make them grow as a team, by rotating my training. Yet, the system forces me into another strategy.

Personally, I do not day-train players that I pick up on the wire. I do day-train players that came off of my youth squad to get them up one more level before I sell them. And in the sense of "realism" it makes more sense because I'm just further investing into something that my youth squad developed.

A quick question for you . . . what level do you plan on training your players up to in PM?
