Week 1 Training Results

Those of you who have been following the Screamin’ Seamen for the past season or so will know that the entire organization is very high on young winger Reg Nichols, a product of our own youth squad at the start of last season. Believe it or not, we just got even higher on the kid, and are expecting nothing less than great things from him in the future. In only his first week of dedicated midfielder training (and from the wing position, to boot) Reg has shown marked improvement in his ball-possession abilities.

#16 Reg Nichols

Position: Winger

18 years old, passable (6) form, healthy.

A pleasant guy who is balanced and honest.
Has disastrous (1) experience and inadequate (5) leadership abilities.

Specialty: Technical

Nationality: American
Assessed Value: $314,000
Wage: $1,880 per week

Stamina: Inadequate (5)
Playmaking: Solid (7)
Winger: Excellent (8)
Scoring: Weak (4)
Goaltending: Disastrous (1)
Passing: Poor (3)
Defending: Weak (4)
Set Pieces: Passable (6)

This kid is downright scary!

Form Changes

3 players saw their form improve this week:
-Forward German Galvez -> solid (7)
-Winger Ivan Richardy -> passable (6) (a 2 level improvement)
-Midfielder Jaimy van de Kerkhof -> passable (6)

16 players saw their form remain the same this week.

2 players dropped a level in form this week:
-Midfielder Agustin Alustiza -> inadequate (5)
-Forward Guido Metman -> passable (6)

Overall the form’s club remained about level, with a small increase to the average. Not exactly what we were hoping for, but at least the tailspin we were encountering as a result of all the conditioning training has stopped.

Ivan Richardy’s improvement is the good news. We’ve been keeping a close eye on the young winger, and his improvement since joining the club has been remarkable. It is possible that Ivan will start instead of Walter Bosch in this Sunday’s league match.

Guido Metman’s form drop is simply the result of his injury, which he has finally recovered from. We were beginning to get a little worried, but when he showed up for practice this morning he told us he felt one-hundred percent. This is good news, as we will need Guido on the pitch this Sunday.

In The Zone

Three of our more experienced players remain in solid form this week:

-Forward German Galvez
-Forward Johannes Henriksson
-Wingback Arlen “Headcase” Lucas

Form Dog

Playing this past Wednesday in the U.S. Open Cup does not appear to have helped Forrest “Gump” Tobias any, and his form remains in the dumper (wretched – 2). I’m not sure we can afford to risk having him on the pitch this Wednesday in our 3rd round cup match. We shall see.

Player Values

Average Player Value: $275,611 (+$2,833)
Total Player Value (21 players): $4,961,000 (+$51,000)

No Assessed Value Milestones This Week

Up Next: One of our youngsters gets his name in all the papers! Stay tuned!
