20.16: Training, Conditions, Week In Review

Training
Set pieces training since it's the offseason. It seemed a better option than stamina because, of our projected starting 11, 8 of them are at excellent stamina and the other 3 are at solid. The UberTrainees(TM) are at inad but there are only two currently. So, I went with set pieces. Our team is going to be pretty good by the end of the next two weeks. A couple of guys bumped to excellent, three more bumped to solid and all the starters are now poor or better. The really good news is that form stayed high even with only half the team playing.

Future Training
Another week of set pieces then back on rigorous playmaking training. Hopefully all 14 weeks next season.

Form
Starters: (+5) (-1)
Entire Team: (+9) (-2)

Starters Form
Solid (or above): Starks (exc), Schrader (exc), Benito, Bush, Phelan, Kimber, Little
Passable: Connors, Teepen, Cristiano, Spagnuolo
Inadequate: -none-
Weak (or below): -none-

Looks like our form is holding.

Value
Starters: (+6) (-4)
Entire Team: (+10) (-7)

Value Highlights
Above $100K: 11(+1)/16(+2)
Above $200K: 7(+0)/10(+0)
Above $300K: 5(+0)/5(+0)
Team Leader: Carlos Alberto Benito ($552K)
Non-Outfield Leader: Tim Kimber ($510K)
Milestones: Elmer Bush ($100K)

For the first time ever, all of our starters are $100K or over! Elmer Bush, who has been with us for quite a while finally went over the $100K mark. And just in time for wages week. D'oh.

Team Stats
Total Wages: 33428 (-$1440)
Total Value: 4332000 (-89000)
Avg Value: 216600 (+6076)
Avg Age: 23 (NC)
Avg Form: passable (NC)
Avg Experience: poor (NC)
No of players: 20 (-1)
Nationalities: 11 (NC)

Notes: Those wages are going to shoot way up next week.

20.16 Week In Review

On the Field
The fixture season was over, so the starters played the Rivalry Week Game. This year, 1306 fans saw Timber throw a shutout and a pair of goals by newly promoted Thomas Little as the Hippos rolled 5-0.

Off the Field
Thomas Little got promoted to starter because we figured he could take over for Herschel Meek, who sold this past week for $286K. That money puts our bank account at roughly $1.5M and will go towards a new Uber Trainee(TM) and a future coach. If there is cash left over, I'll look into mid 20s aged guys at wingback and striker who could play with us for a couple of years.

Closing
That's it! You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here. There is nothing else to see this week- the youth pull and economy updates are actually part of next week and next season so check there. The awards banquet will be up in the next two days- so check back here then!
