Redskins Return To Super Bowl, Beat Brawlers 33-13
The Washington Redskins, led by the offensive onslaught of Sonny Jurgenson and John Riggins, are heading back to the Super Bowl for the second straight season.
Riggins rushed 24 times for 141 yards and 1 TD. Jurgenson completed 17 of 26 passes for 204 yards and 3 TDs. He also ran 8 times for 64 yards.
Brawlers RB Seymour Butz rushed 14 times for 79 yards. QB Al Coholic was 19 of 41 for 230 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT.
Patriots Stun Avengers 20-7
The New England Patriots built up a 17 point lead at Arkham by halftime, and the Avengers never recovered.
Patriots RB Van Kangas rushed 27 times for 143 yards, and QB Owen Hunter was 21 of 29 for 325 yards and 2 TDs.
The Avengers weren't able to generate much of a rushing game without starting RB Cthulu, and QB Azathoth was largely ineffective, completing 22 of 42 passes for 192 yards and no TDs.
