2004 Divisional Round Preview

Cleveland at Jacksonville (-2)

Jacksonville will be without MLB Kevin Hardy, and WR Keenan McCardell is listed as probable. QB Vinny Testaverde leads the Jaguars against the Browns, after having thrown for over 5000 yards in the regular season.

Houston (-4) at San Diego

Somebody had to win the AFC West - this year it was San Diego. With leading rusher Ike Fitzgerald out with a blown ACL, and 6th round pick QB Marc Wilson under center, it doesn't look good for the Chargers against the reigning conference champs.

San Francisco at Washington (-4)

Washington will miss WR Terrell Owens, who is out with a torn rotator cuff. This diminishes what could have otherwise been a repeat of the Haywood Jeffries drama from last season. Instead, the Redskins head into the game relatively healthy, lead by the league's highest rated QB, Sonny Jurgenson. Cornerback Darrell Green, who led the leage with 12 INT's, hopes to shut down Joe Montana this week.

St. Louis at Moe's Tavern (-5)

Brawler's QB Al Coholic is listed as probable, but will almost certainly play on Sunday. The Brawlers look strong this season, and the Maroons will have to play their best game of the season to continue their title defense.
