Keep in mind that the NFC East is the only division to have every team fully stocked with "seed" players, thus making it the most difficult to compete in. The Cowboys are probably much better than their 9-7 record indicates.
FWIW - MLB Lee Roy Jordan missed 5 games due to a separated shoulder. Other than that, I see no substantial missed time due to injury on any Dallas "star" players.
