FB Orlando Namath, Michigan St. - Saw very limited time as a backup.
WR Xavier Del Rio, California - Started 10 of 11 games. Had 32 receptions for 554 yards with 3 touchdowns. Carried the ball 6 times for 31 yards and 1 touchdown.
WR Joe Talley, UAB - Started 7 of 8 games before a high ankle sprain kept him out the rest of the year. Had 24 receptions for 345 yards with 5 touchdowns.

CB Rusty Bond, UAB - Started 11 games. Had 33 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 13 assists, 6 interceptions with 1 returned for a touchdown, 7 passes defended and returned 3 kicks for a 23.3 average. All-conference.
S Aaron Tucker, Miami - Played little as a backup. Had 17 tackles and 2 assists.
