20.10: Training, Youth Pull, Conditions, Week In Review

Training
The long awaited stamina training week worked out about as good as I could have hoped. Pierre Wellens went up 2 levels to inadequate while Storm, Tryggvesson, and Little all went up one level to inad, inad, and passable. None of my starters needed any help (7 are excellent) but all of my trainees went up! Also, my form wasn't destroyed. Little's form remained in the crapper at weak but the other three UberTrainees(TM) are at solid. For starters, only 3 of the 11 players are below passable.

Youth Pull, Week 20.10
Last week's Werner Murillo sold for a whopping $1K. This week's is 17yo Brian Collier and he might garner that same $1K. Nothing impressive. Looks like I may be back in a youth pull slump.

A controversial person who is calm and honest.

Nothing like a draw with Brooklyn to get your confidence from poor to wonderful. Actually, that's probably the reading after the next game.

20.10 Week In Review

On the Field
We did the unthinkable and drew Brooklyn United! Herschel Meek scored the only goal and Timber made it stand up. Not only that but we got all time highs for stars (36.5) and NSI (72). If we win 3 of our next 4 (losing to Chock), we will finish in the money! And to think, this looked impossible a week ago. Then we went on the road and beat the Canadian Thoroughbreds in our first ever shootout, even if it was in a friendly. Ignacio Sanchez stopped a goal in overtime and then stopped a shootout shot. The Hippos scored on all 5 of their shootout shots including the game winner by Pierre Wellens. Clement Schrader scored both in regulation and in the shootout.

Off the Field
Last week's youth pull only sold for $1K. This week's will also sell for under $10K. It appears that we're in a bit of a youth pull slump. Last week's training bump, former starting winger Ivan Viseslav sold, however. He was 20yo but only was a pass pm/pass winger and sold for $115K.
