Gardner Webb (0-1) at Colgate (0-0)

I am so full of enthusiasm and optimism on opening day. Of course, a 1 point loss, 60-59, at home kills all that good felling off awfully fast. Moore led the team with 19 points from the PG spot, along with 6 asssits. Pierre Jones also scored in double figures with 11.

Long Island (1-1) at Colgate (0-1)

This is the first of a few OOC games against in state rivals. We take game one of our New York State schedule with a 76-73 win. Jones had a double, double to earn POTG honors with 13 point and 15 rebounds. Moore led the team with 18 points and Tom D. scored 10. It is early, but I am still pondering a switch between Tom D. and Moore at PG and SG.

Colgate (1-1) at Siena (0-3)

We hand Siena their first win of the season, 71-69, and I hit the panic button and decide to make some changes already. Jones led the team with 19 points while Tom D. had a double double with 13 points and 10 boards. We are getting some nice individual performances, but not a full team effort.

I move our freshman phenom, Moses Litton to the starting SF spot. He is naturally a center, but Silverman is disappointing early on and will be better served off the bench. The AI suggests we go man to man, so I give it a shot.
