Our road stuggles continue as we hand Alcorn their first win of the season. Hans Brewton scored 15 and Hogan added 9, but that is all of note.

After this game, I decide to promote freshman David Dombroski into the starting Center position, and demote Carl Jones to 6th man. We will see how that works out.

Colgate 66, (at) Vermont 37

We get our first road win of the year, thanks to our defense. It seems like that is how the season will play out. If we can shut them down we should win, if not, we are not going to score enough to win. Brewton has his best offensive game of the year with 22 points. Dombroski scores 4 and grabs 4 boards in his first start. He played 21 minutes.

December 30, 2007

Colgate 50, (at) St. Bonaventure 38

Our biggest win since moving to the Ivy League Conference. The Bonnies were 6-3 on the year, and we knocked them off in their house with a brilliant defensive performance once again. On offense, Brewton led the team with a dozen points. We held their starters to just 13 points!

December Recap

PF Robbie Coats from Muncie, IN has committed to Wisconsin.

SF Stephen McNeil from Baltimore, MD has committed to Colgate! Stephen is a 3 star prospect. We will need him to work on his jumper but he has the potential. He is better from long range already, so he will give us a nice 3 point threat early in his career. His defense and hands are above average.

PF Mark Alpert from Schenectady, NY has committed to Colgate! Mark is our third 3 star prospect to committ. He is a defensive stopper, in a big way. He already has some nice moves on offense, but we are not sure how much he can improve on that. He has very nice hands and court vision for a big man.
