Fox News reporting that they are searching for a guy who bought the car off Craigslist and spent time in Pakistan for a few months. I don't see anyone else reporting that though right now, so it could just be Fox News slobbering at the mouth to somehow connect this to the Middle East.
I think it's tough to speculate on who or what this was about. I don't think it was sophisticated at all and I'd be surprised if any major terrorist movement was involved. Seems more like one guy who was really pissed about something and decided he was going to cause some damage.
