The sad part is that he had been playing well the last few games. He had been bailing out a terrible defense the past few games. Tonight, he didn't and the Jackets couldn't score 10 goals to make up for it.
The wife and I left after the 2nd period, the first time I've ever left a game that early. A complete embarrassment, and I wasn't waiting around another 15 minutes to watch the end of the movie when I already knew the ending.
Thankfully this only counts as one loss in the standings, and maybe it convinces this team that they're nowhere close to being a playoff team and they need to work harder.
