Emery gave up 5 goals but the defense left him out to dry on 3 of them. I am cautiously optimistic with him. Losing Betts for a month will hurt because that 4th line is actually decent. Betts and Laperrier are good on the PK and eat minutes that Richards and Carter had to last year. That'll make those two fresher.

Penguins were garbage last night. They didn't even show up vs Phoenix.

10 penalties, both goals scored on the PP for the Coyotes (then the empty netter). Brent Johnson got the start and played pretty well-- to give Fleury off with tonight at Philly in mind.

Is the crowd booing Crosby yet?
