As someone who worked at a HS this spring and had a little sister who was a senior already accepted to college, I can guarantee you it's not an issue.
As long as a parent confirms the absence and the student is in good standing, there is nothing a school will do, particularly if you tell them ahead of time and talk to teachers. I mean, you can be devious and just call in every day and claim your kid is home sick, but it really isn't necessary.
