Take my impressions with a grain of salt b/c I don't play poker in Casinos (not good enough).
But it seems that you are kind of missing the point when you use an automated table. If I want to play automated poker, I can do that online at home 24/7.
Part of why it is worth driving to a casino to play, I would expect, is to have the physical feel of the cards and the chips and the like---to get to actually be like the guys you see on TV. And if you don't have that, then what is the point?
Of course, casinos want people playing higher return games than poker anyway, so maybe part of this move would be to discourage people from playing poker.
