US fans are going to have to be content with continuing to be a big fish in our small pond, laying the occasional egg and putting together a big match every now and then. Lest we forget, it was less than 20 years ago that the US finally returned to the World Cup for the first time in 40 years.

i never thought 2010 was realistic for any type of competitiveness by our guys. IMHO it's more like...2022 or 2026 before we'll be in a World Cup final.
