Consumers as a whole should be grateful for the increase in rhetoric. You don't see partnering CEO's telling each other to drop the price on merchandise very often. I'm sure Sony's pissed that he did this, but Sony has demonstrated that it takes multiple kicks in the ass to get them to do something in this generation.
