Fresno State proved last year that any good team can be hot and win the NC even in this format, but I don't think Van Horn has yet fielded the kind of team he is capable of fielding to make a true run for the title. I don't know why Van Horn hasn't fielded that complete team yet, but I have a hard time thinking it won't happen eventually.
