Well, the Devils were getting a fair amount of pressure in the Carolina zone for the third period. The big change in the third period was Carolina stopped handing the puck over to New Jersey; they played like garbage the first two, and handed at least two of those goals over to the Devils. I have no idea what they were thinking dropping the puck off on that shorthanded attempt that left them so exposed, for example. I was shocked it was only 3-2 heading into the third, and then Carolina finally woke up.
