On the bright side of the bad news, Croats week is as good of a week as any to have a form dive, as it's unlikely you'd be able to beat them anyway. Much better now than the week of a game with another of the 2nd-6th place contenders.
On a side note, I very much wanted to bid on your middy, as I deperately need a backup central mid with his skill set, but my passable keeper youth pull hasn't gotten a bid yet (and I listed him at a very reasonable price), so I'm still 200K plus in the hole and can't bid.
