Excellent thread idea.
One of the gifts I just picked up for my wife: I went to
Alibris: Used Books, Used Textbooks, Rare & Out-of-Print Books and searched autographed copies of novels by her favorite writers. She's a voracious reader, but has a dozen or so writers she adores. I'm hoping she digs this.
