Cool thing. Matt Flynn, our 6th round pick, was originally slated as the backup to John Beck. He did okay in the first preseason game but was annoying me so much in the second preseason game that I pulled him in favor of Larry Drain, the UDRFA QB out of Illinois State who I found myself liking in the initial stages of scouting, before further scouting revealed him to be... not so good.
So what does Larry do? Goes on a tear, including 2 TD passes to, along with Ronnie Brown, lead us to a 35-31 comeback win over the Jaguars.
Needless to say, Drain's earned himself a shot at the #2 QB spot and I'll be keeping an eye on him as the season goes on. (Currently he's 57 to Flynn's 62 and Beck's 76).

That's what gives me that FPS Football feeling, ratings I look at first, then it's what you do on the field. I love being able to see that!
