You've just made my argument for me. If Poli knew you'd be a likely early lynch target, why wouldn't he do what I've been saying he'd do and leave you for Hoops?
And there's no way Poli makes you the real seer. That makes a LOT LESS sense than Hoops picking you for the cunning wolf as the village is inclined to distrust you anyawy until you scan clean, and there's no way for you to be scanned as clean if you're the seer.
