Not sure if that helps you but you can start your subscription to any series with any future issues that has been solicited. For example, I wanted to get the two issues of
Robin that will be part of the Batman RIP storyline (#175 & 176) so I subscribed to it "starting with issue #175". I could also have simply put in an order for those two issues and it would have worked just as well.
