Two of the three trainees that we are expecting improvements from soon have “popped” this week, wingback Mattias Leier and central defender Cameron McDonald.

The good news is that Johannes Henriksson has officially recovered from his slump. The bad news is that Guido Metman continues to be a form yo-yo, dropping right before the most important match of the season. Still, we expect these two to play for us up front on Sunday against the Ramblers.

In The Zone

We have four different starters at excellent (8) form this week, which is certainly good news. Wingbacks Arlen “Headcase” Lucas and Tyler Willard remain in excellent form, as does winger Valentin Rubio. This week they are joined by midfielder Charlie Bautista. Reserve midfielder Lucian Tere remains in excellent form as well.

Form Dogs

Cornelius “Corny” Jernigan remains this week’s “form dog,” which is a reason for concern. All the same, Corny will still probably start in net for us on Sunday, as reserve keeper Darryl Read isn’t much better off.
