First NCAA tournament appearance was 1983, only 10 tournament appearances lifetime, only 3 tournament wins in the past 20 years, only 2 SEC tournament titles, only 2 sec regular season titles (one of which came in 1931-32).
1983 was a great run but other than that year they're 4-8 lifetime in the NCAA.

I guess the Tubby Smith years stand out to me since they were during my peak hoops viewing years. I'm not saying they were championship contenders year in and year out, but they seemed to be in the dance much more often than not...
