So he struggled a bit at the end of the season, overall he was slightly better than league average, even if he continues to decline some he'd still probably be better than what the Braves have for a fourth or fifth starter.
The salary demands could make it not worth it of course, but part of what I said came out of the sheer joy from seeing the Mets collapse. If the Braves have some promising starters in the farm system that could be ready for 2008 or could find a bargain free agent or two I would prefer those options to Glavine.
