Blood Diamond 8/10
Good solid flick. Dealt with the civil wars in Africa and the topic of conflict diamonds. Occasionally veered close to the preachy side (exploting Africa, no one cares, etc.), but never crossed the line.
DiCaprio was solid. Almost made me forget about the Titanic.
I thought the journalist lady's performance paled in comparison and the last 5 minutes was weak (they should have just cut out the end). Also it felt a bit streched out at just over 2 hours. But good entertainment all the same.
