From what my buddy tells me, there's a Watchmen movie that's going to be in the works.
As for TPBs, lately I've been grabbing Seven Soldiers of Victory (3 volumes so far? Not sure if they're continuing) as well as Garth Ennis' Punisher runs (at 6 volumes right now).
I only subscribe to 2 issues - Runaways and Young Avengers, while everything else I grab up via TPB.
