Week 8 Training Results

We weren’t expecting any of our players to take the “next step” defensively this week, and so were not surprised with the training results. What did surprise us a little bit is that Father Time finally seems to be catching up with Pete “The Old Goat” Tomlin. Not to worry though, it is only Pete’s winger ability which dropped from poor (3) to wretched (2). It’s not like we ever play Pete on the wing anyway.

Form Changes

7 players improved in form this week, including three starters;
-Midfielder Charlie Bautista: solid (7)
-Winger Valentin Rubio: passable (6)
-Midfielder Pete “The Old Goat” Tomlin: passable (6)

9 players saw their form remain the same this week.

6 players decreased a level in form this week, including four starters;
-Midfielder Niklas Ivarsson: passable (6)
-Wingback Arlen Lucas: solid (7)
-Winger Ben McMahon: inadequate (5)
-Forward Forrest “Gump” Tobias: passable (6)

We pretty much broke even this week, and only one of our current starters (Ben McMahon) is at form lower than a passable level.

In The Zone

Wingback Tyler Willard is our only player “in the zone” this week. Young Tyler has been playing some of the best soccer of his life as of late, as evidenced by his two consecutive Team Match MVP awards.

Form Dogs

Swedish striker Johannes Henriksson remains in his horrible slump, and is this week’s only form dog with poor (3) form.
