If I understand correctly, that's great news.

So, it's possible that someone like Smoltz could stay as a starting pitcher beyond when he did in real life? If in the sim, the team he's on needs starting pitching and the game converts him to a reliever, the AI can convert him back the next day and would basically keep doing that every recalculation period until it determines he's more valuable as a reliever than he would be as a starter?
