#19 Indiana (9-2) (-3) vs #28 Fresno State on TV4.

Vallery complete a 13-yd pass to Kaplan on the first play, and three plays later we go ahead 7-0 on a 58-yd TD run by Erik Wittich. He score a second TD at 4:15 in the 1st quarter with a 10-yd run, and we're up by 14-0. It's great to have big Horo' back on the D-line, he's wreaking havoc in the opposing backfield. Vallery has had an uneven game so far, his timing seems a little off. But when WR Bertram went open on a deep route, there was no hesitation, and a 75-yd TD pass! 21-0, Indiana! With 2:53 left of the second quarter we get a third TD from Wittich as he goes around left end for a 15-yd scoring run. 28-0, Indiana!

Halfway through the game we have 16 first downs, 145 rushing yds and 180 passing yds, while Fresno State has 4 first downs, 22 rushing yds and 111 passing yds. The Fresno State coach must have given a great motivational speech to his team, because they come out firing and score on the opening drive of the second half on a 17-yd TD pass. 28-7, Indiana. Their joy is shortlived, however, as WR Blades return the following kickoff 94 yds for the score and 34-7, Indiana! Early in the fourth quarter it's 41-7, Indiana, as Vallery finds Baker with a 19-yd TD pass. Then a Fresno State running back fumbles the ball as Dorrough tackles him, and Whalen returns it 36 yds for the score! 48-7, Indiana!

On the kickoff return, the same thing happens as the returner develops butterfingers and the Hoosiers' Husted recovers and return the ball 18 yds for 55-7! Fresno State can't move the ball, and a short pass gives us such a great field position we can't help but score again, on a 22-yd pass by Vallery to Bertram. 61-7, Indiana, as Cash bungles the extra point attempt.
